StatsBomb Open Data

What It Does

StatsBomb Open Data is an official public repository containing competition and season indexes, match files, event data, and lineups. Selected matches also include StatsBomb 360 data.

Markets and Access

The repository is free to access and distributes JSON files rather than a live consumer research interface. Only selected competitions, seasons, and matches are released; this is not the complete commercial StatsBomb feed.

Practical Notes

The repository asks published research and analysis to credit StatsBomb and use its logo. Read the supplied licence before redistribution or commercial reuse. JSON files are not CSV exports, and historical datasets do not by themselves provide an API subscription, backtester, or prediction model.
